The National Library of Scotland has created a fantastic minisite dedicated to one of my favourite Scottish authors, Muriel Spark. The information on it covers her childhood, her first publication, her novels and her works in translation, as well as a bibliography and a guide to the archive held by the NLS. The bottom of each of the pages includes images of objects from her life. My favourite of the predictable ones are her CV and British Library ticket, at the foot of the Getting Published page. Of the less predictable images, I'm torn between the science notebook from her childhood and the betting invoice on her Finest Work page.
